Aswan is a great destination to visit year-round, with each season offering its own unique charm. The spring season brings longer, warmer days to bask in the sun, while the summer season can be very hot, but the dry weather allows for enjoyable activities in the shade. If you prefer cooler weather, autumn and winter are lovely times of the year, with an amazing warm sun to soak in all morning. The ideal months to visit are from September through April.

Breakfast is included in your stay and our lovely breakfast menu will start your day on a high note. We also have a lunch menu available should you not want to leave the Nubian House.

Aswan is known for its authentic Nubian Cuisine, with several Nubian Houses around the Island offering a variety of Nubian Dishes with different twists.

Airport transfers can be arranged upon reservation, Our mini-bus will take you from the airport to the nearest Nile Port where a boat will meet you for transfer to the island. The trip is around 20 minutes.

Guests are asked to kindly check in after 2 pm and check out before 11 am latest. In case you require a later check-out, we will try our utmost best to accommodate you if there are any vacant rooms available, at a nominal day-use charge. Otherwise, you can check out and leave your luggage at the main restaurant where we will safely store it for you to collect at a later time.

Room Rates vary by date and by the number of adults occupying a single room. To accommodate more guests, you need to change your room reservation. You will be notified of any additional charges before confirming your updated reservation.

This is a children-friendly Nubian House. Beds are big enough to sleep 2 kids or 1 adult and 1 kid.

Breakfast time is from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. However, should you have an early start to your day, feel free to inform the Nubian Hosts the day before and we will gladly cater an earlier breakfast. You have the option of choosing a breakfast box to take with you on your trip or a Nubian breakfast in your bedroom. If you would rather prefer to have breakfast in the main restaurant, we will arrange it for you.

There is a small medical unit on the Island and a full medical unit in the West Khazan area which is 3km after the 15-minute boat ride to the port.
